About
Connections Music Therapy

Connections Music Therapy specializes in congenital and acquired cognitive, physical, and mental disabilities / disorders.

Offering Music Therapy Sessions and Adaptive Music Lessons

We believe that everyone should be able to engage in music, regardless of skill or ability. As such, CMT offers both music therapy sessions to work on cognitive, communication, academic, motor, emotional, or social goals and adaptive music lessons, for those who want to participate in playing an instrument, but may not learn in a typical way, or have learning difficulties/disabilities.

Individualized treatment/lesson plans are created specifically to each clients’ needs. An initial assessment is completed to gain insight into each client and what their goals are. This also serves as the beginning of the therapeutic relationship. After the initial assessment, the first few sessions will be used to determine how we will achieve your goals in a realistic, engaging atmosphere.

Mission

To help individuals reach their full potential.
