Nova Era Bakery originated in Little Portugal on Dundas West, but has expanded to 10 shops (six in Toronto) over the past 20+ years, including to this location in Bloorcourt. This is a good place to grab a coffee and a pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tart). The tart is creamy, with the customary burnt top and a flaky crust.
